Local Attractions

Walpole Wilderness Resort is located only a short distance from the beautiful coastal town of Walpole, Western Australia and makes an ideal base for exploring the diverse array of scenic attractions the area has to offer.

However, many guests leave disappointed that they didn’t get to see all of Walpole’s unique sights, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to fit it all in.

Discover the Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk; explore the world famous Bibbulmun Track; take time out to climb Mt Frankland; pack up a picnic and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Frankland River; or be amazed at the variety of wildflowers on one of the many walk trails through bushland.

Beaches and Fishing

The local beaches are among the best in the world and the fishing is superb. Nornalup Inlet, Walpole Inlet and Broke Inlet are only short distances away.

The Wilderness and Unique Wildlife

This is an important part of an international biodiversity hotspot, home to threatened plant and animal species and others found nowhere else in the world.
